Ekim IT Solutions is a growing Managed IT Service Provider based in Portland, Maine. We work with businesses to keep their operations running smoothly, securely, and efficiently. As we grow, we’re looking for a full-time Network Engineer who’s eager to learn, take ownership, and become a key player in our team.

🧠 What You’ll Be Doing

This is a hybrid role — mostly remote, but with regular travel to client sites across Southern Maine (within ~1.5 hours of Portland). You’ll have access to our Portland office anytime, and your week will include a mix of help desk, fieldwork, and documentation/admin work.

Your day-to-day will include:

Handling remote and onsite help desk tickets (hardware, software, networking)
Visiting client sites to deploy equipment, troubleshoot, or assist with projects
Running/terminating Ethernet (CAT6) cabling, installing Wi-Fi access points, printers, etc.
Supporting new client onboarding, including device setup and user training
Creating and updating technical documentation (configs, passwords, SOPs)
Learning new systems and tools as needed (you’ll never stop leveling up here)

No two days will be the same — and that’s the fun of it.

👀 Who We’re Looking For

This is a great role for someone early in their IT career with strong critical thinking skills and a passion for figuring things out.

You must:

Live in Southern Maine
Have a reliable vehicle and valid driver’s license
Be personable, communicative, and comfortable dealing with clients
Be able to diagnose and resolve technical issues independently
Know the basics: Windows, basic networking, printers, cabling, routers/switches, etc.
Be flexible, self-directed, and excited to grow with a fast-moving company

Bonus if you:

Have experience with MSP tools or worked in IT support before
Have a degree or certs in IT, networking, or a related field (not required)

Pay Range: [$18-$25/hr. – Depending on Experience]
Growth Path: Significant Pay Increase after 1 year if you’re crushing it
